The Forgotten Soldiers

We remember The Fallen, but don't forget the living, those suffering Combat PTSD, as they have injuries, but just because their injuries aren't always visible doesn't mean they don't exist. A RANT - GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! I hate people who criticise our soldiers, as they joined up , of their own free will, rather than being conscripted. My brother for one, seems to think combat PTSD is not a reall illness, or people can just brush it off. I'd love for him to get his civvy arse out to Afghanistan, and then tell me combat PTSD is not a real illness, as i'm sure he couldn't handle it. Also what about women, who have suffered rape/child sexual abuse as girls, is their PTSD not real. PTSD is NOT an excuse just to claim benefits and not work. Much as I like my brother, I'd like to see what reaction he gets if he was to tell some of my (ex )Army friends, and their army mates combat their PTSD isn't real. Makes me so angry when people say PTSD isn't real, YES It FUCKING IS!!!!!!!!

Exile On Main Street is the Stones at their most bluesy, low down, swaggering, drinking, sleazy best. I've worn out my CD of EOMS (well it's lasted 20 years), the new reissue with the "lost" tracks is out now & also Stones In Exile, is released on 14th June. OPh I'm broke have to drop some hints for my birthday. Oh yes I get my muisical taste from my Dad 1944-2005 (as I do my love of railway engines, real ale and his politics), he was a Stones fan from 1963. I must thank the Late Great Brian Jones for his formation of the then Rollin' Stones. I know it's only Rock 'n' Roll, but I like it!!!!!!!!

Jon Venables- why the secrecy over his offence

I'm just wondering why Jack man of Straw, has decided that it isn't ini the public interest to state what child killer Jon Venables' offence was to return him to prison. I think it was more than a fight at work. It was reported that the scumbag had committed a sexual assault. I suppose Venables will be protected by his new ID he was given upon release from prison last time. I'm sorry, but he and Robert Thompson abducted and tourtured then two year old James Bulger, and left him for dead on a railway line, (poor James' tortured body was sliced in half by a train)so I believe that these two should never have been allowed to go free. When will prison be about punishment of the most serious criminals, no Playstations, tv etc, both Venables & Thompson should suffer hard labour for the rest of their pathetic lives. Oh yes as for Venables' new ID, I think it's only right that his neighbours, work colleagues have a right to know they are working with living next to a convicted child murderer/ sex offender. Little James Bulger's life ended to soon in the most horriffic of circumstances, so his killers should have to pay the price for that.

Walter Mitty aka Roger Day's case dismissed

Roger Day of Earl Shilton Leicestershire was seen posing as a retired SAS soldier wearing an impossible array of service medals at a Rememberance Sunday parade last year. Day has had his original conviction overturned as the dopey Warwickshire CPS had brought the case to court under the wrong act. So Roger "Walter Mitty Day, gets away with it, and by his act he brings dishonour to Our REAL Heroes, the ones who have served and currently serve for King/Queen & Country. I would love to have seen Day given the punishment of cleaning every war memorial in the country, under the watchful eye of a Regimental Seargeant Major, also I would send him out to Afghanistan just so he can see what our REAL Heroes have to endure, and i would also make part of his punishment to work unpaid at Headley Court. AS for Day's wife Maxine, she is as dim as her husband, she stands by the twat. I know if someone like Day was spinning yarns to me I would have found him out as a liar/bullshit artist, and I would be far from impressed by his fakery, as bullshit making out you're a Military Hero when you're not doesn't impress me at all, and one day you will be found out. I can spot these "Walters" a mile off. So Mrs Day if you believe your husband to be innocent in the eyes of the law and believe his wild tales you're as dim as he is. You two deserve each other. Sex attackers "rights" more important than public saftey???

Obviously, as this case goes to show. Sex offender Anthony Rice was released from prison and went on to kill 40 year old MS sufferer Naomi Bryant, and left her 14 year old daughter without a mother. The Parole Board said he presented a "minimal risk" and when Rice was moved to an open prison in 2001the report from the board to move him to an open prison created a 'momentum towards release'. I don't think that SCUMBAGS like Rice have any rights, why was a violent sex offender allowed out to kill Ms Bryant, and also leave her 14 year old daughter without a mother. How Many More Gordon??????

I'm typing this blog as the death toll of British Soldiers killed in Afghanistan just keeps on going up and up. I have just one question I would love to ask our so called Prime Minister. How many more Mr Brown, just how many more of our young servicemen and women will be sent to their deaths, or return home severely injured physically and/or mentally, before our troops are pulled out of Afghanistan????? Why??? What business did Messrs Blair & Brown got to meddle in internal Afghani affairs???? Wishing our lads & lassies serving in 'Stan a safe return home.
